You’ve scoured the internet for the best Seattle family photographer (and landed on my website, of course) and now you’re wondering where the heck to take the photos! Well, as always I got you, boo.
The following are three of my top fave location ideas for your next family session.

1. Discovery Park
Not only is Discovery Park centrally located and easy to access whether you’re coming from the north or south, it has some EPIC views and landscapes during the summer months. Starting in May, it is covered in tall, whispy green grass. The cascading fields leading down to waterfront views provide tons of variety in your photos as well as room to play and explore (especially helpful for squirmy kiddos!). Then in July these gorgeous sweet pea wildflowers spring up and cover the ground in a splash of pink. Around August the tall grass dries out and the whole park becomes a boho lover’s dream with neutral creamy tans and browns.
2. Flower Farms
Now, *exactly* which flower farm I love most is privileged information – you gotta book with me first 🙂 BUT, because I’m a nice person I’ll throw ya a bone.

JB Family Growers in Woodinville, WA is a must on the list. Their farm features practically every seasonal flower you can imagine, starting with lavender in June and rotating through a menagerie of varieties until at least early September. Photo sessions here promise tons of color and texture, and so much beauty to keep kiddos delighted and entertained.
3. Gold Creek Pond
This last one requires a bit of a drive, but the mountain views are 100% worth it.

Now, by the looks of the photos you’d think you have to hike miles to reach this location. But it is literally a 10 minute walk from the parking lot, on a smooth paved trail that is both stroller and wheelchair friendly. It is located in the Snoqualmie Pass, roughly an hour from Seattle. For just a little adventure and drive, you get a HUGE payout in the grandeur of your photos!
